The Poke Bowl
Fresh ahi over rice with house sauces — the one people drive across the island for.
Locally caught fish — raw, fried, or baked — and poke bowls piled big. Cut fresh to order from our truck on Lono Ave.
Fresh, locally caught fish — however you like it. Raw in a poke bowl, fried crisp, or baked. Whatever your style, it was swimming a lot more recently than at the grocery store.
Fresh ahi over rice with house sauces — the one people drive across the island for.
Crisp-fried catch, two-scoop rice, and the sides — a proper Maui plate lunch.
Oven-baked fillet for the lighter side of the catch — flaky, clean, still local.
Like Poke? is Daniel Kalahiki's truck on Lono Ave in Kahului — built on one simple idea: the fish should taste like Maui, not like a freezer. That means locally caught, cut fresh, and sauced by hand.
Word got around. The bowls landed on Food Network, the line got longer, and the reviews piled up — but it's still the same truck, the same fish, the same question every regular answers the same way.
